SET field trip 2024

130 students from all grades went over the two days of the 25th and 26th January 2024, supervised by 4 teachers; Mr. Kevin, Mr. Peter, Ms Fon, and Mr. Andrew. The following full classes went: Grade 10 Introduction to Business (3 sections - 78 students), Grade 11 Microeconomics, G12 Macroeconomics. The other students were from all grades, mostly business elective students, but it was open to all students.

The trip allows students to learn about SET in a fun and interesting way. There are lots of interactive activities and games in the Investory Museum. We would like to thank SET staff for guiding the students through the museum and answering students' questions. The students learnt about; the role of SET in the Thai economy, how to invest in SET, investments available at SET, possible returns from investing in different assets, risks of investing, careers at SET, and personal financial planning. The trip includes a stock market simulation game where students invest in Thai companies and their return is based on real SET historical data. Many of the students really enjoy his activity.
