Classroom Mangement Procedures

1. Classroom observation for interpersonal interaction and Seating chart planning

I conducted some research on "Interpersonal Interaction in the Classroom" and discovered that the seating chart is one of the most important factors in improving student learning. As a result, I decided to observe several classrooms to get ideas. For instance, I observed one of the Social Science class which a teacher employed group discussion, switching to a lecture-demonstration format. The teacher arranged the seats in a large group so that students could discuss both within and across the table. This made it simple for teachers to keep track of their students.

2. Classroom Management Workshop

I attended a workshop for classroom management (October, 2016) by Dr. Stephen Coryelle, Dan Simonds And Matt Forgy for teachers new to teaching or new to MUIDS. This workshop is mainly about how to increase student engagement in classroom.

2. Student feedback

I asked student feedback about the seating chart and have them discussed to find effective seating chart for each lesson
