Meet the goals

Many schools, including MUIDS, have transitioned to online learning during the covid 19 situations. Most teachers have found it difficult to modify their instruction so that it has less of an impact on teaching and learning.
 

In my regular class, I typically use the EDMODO website to communicate in the classroom, assign tasks, and post learning materials. It became a more important tool to communicate with students and support their self-learning during the online learning situation.

What I did next was to hold an online learning class using the GOOGLE MEET application, which challenged me during the initiative portion to maintain the same classroom environment. On the first trials, I discovered that it relied more on direct and explicit instruction rather than passive learning. However, after learning more functions and receiving some training on effective online teaching, I assumed that my instruction had improved to meet my expectations. Some students were found to be more focused while studying and involved in their learning. When activities are limited, however, some students become demotivated.

One obvious change is the manner in which I provide feedback to students. During the online course. I discovered that giving clear feedback is indeed important because they have fewer opportunities to consult with teachers face-to-face, which allows for better clarification. Some students stated that it was extremely beneficial to them.

I have also created schedules for students and parent with concerns to follow the instructions and deadlines.
