As part of my professional responsibility in mentoring student initiatives, I served as the mentor for students participating in the Dek Ouad (Tum) Dee Project organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office through the National Identity Office. The program aims to promote youth civic engagement by providing opportunities for students to express their ideas and apply their knowledge and abilities to contribute to society, their communities, and the nation.
Through this project, students were encouraged to develop creativity, collaboration, and community involvement while learning to adapt constructively to change and work effectively as a team. They conducted research, implemented real-world activities, and designed initiatives that benefit their local community under the guiding concept of “Know, Love, Unity.”
On 22 January 2025, representatives from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Identity Office visited Mahidol University International Demonstration School to monitor and encourage the students’ progress. During the visit, MUIDS students Natcha Nitiwat, Pitcha Luengviriya, and Kornkamon Kiatsommart presented updates on their project and shared their learning experiences and outcomes with the visiting committees.
