International Day / Concert Day

Mahidol University International Demonstration School

December 4 th , 2018 (Tuesday)

Leading up to the day:

- All students go to their assigned classes to take attendance - All students are told the schedule and are reminded of specific duties - G. 10 and 11 students are given their International Day passports - All students and teachers are given Video Art exhibition catalog [map] And are invited to view and vote for their favorite works throughout the day.

07.45 AM - 08.50 AM

- G. 10 (section 1-2 and 5-10) and G. 11 students start to prepare their Country Rooms (8 rooms for G. 10 and 9 rooms for G. 11 – based on their sections) - 1003 and 1004 Introduction to Business students set up their International Student Market stalls on the ground floor (pre-set up only as the activity will start in the afternoon) - G. 10 and G. 12 representative music students help set up the concert area. - G. 12 students meet at the stairway to start decorating their International Day whiteboards / If they are Marketing or Accounting students they will also be setting up their International Student Market stalls.

08.50 AM - 11.00 AM

- G. 10 (except 03 and 04) and G. 11 students present their Country Rooms to the judges - students from each section take turns to present their rooms while others visit other rooms with their individual “passports” to learn about other students’ countries and receive stamps from passport control (a teacher stationed in each room) - each student must visit at least 5 country rooms - G. 10 Introduction to Business students stop their International Student Market preparations and go visit country rooms with their passports - G. 12 students continue decorating their International Day whiteboards

11.00 AM - All students go to lunch

- G. 10 and 11 clean up their country rooms before they go to lunch - G. 11 Marketing and Accounting students go set up the International Student Market

12.30 PM - Opening Ceremony – Ground Floor

- G. 12 students roll out their International Day whiteboards - The International Student Market Officially opens after the ceremony begins - Concert starts - Judges for the International Student Market and the International Day whiteboards start judging. 15.00 PM - Awards announced
